B.Tech./ B.Arch.Programmes

This university conducts a nation wide Engineering Entrance Examination (BSAUEEE) to select the candidates for admission to B.Tech./B.Arch. programmes. B.S.Abdur Rahman University Entrance Examination will be conducted during the month of April/May every year in selected cities across India.

The selection of candidates for the admission to the above programme is based on their merit in the qualifying examination as well as in the BSAUEEE.

M.Tech. / M.C.A. Programmes

Admission of candidates to M.Tech. in various disciplines and M.C.A. programmes is made through an Entrance Test in the relevant branch of study followed by Personal Interview. Selection of candidates is based on the merit of the applicants in the Qualifying Examination and Entrance Test and also the performance in Personal Interview.

M.B.A. Programme

MBA programme is offered by Crescent Business School, which is part of the university. Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme are required to appear for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or any other nationally recognized Entrance Test or BSAU Entrance Test.

Selection of candidates will be based on overall scores in four components: academic record, entrance test, group discussion and personal interview.

Research Programmes ( M.Phil., M.S.(By research) and Ph.D)

For the selection of candidates to the above research programmes, University conducts an entrance test. Candidates are short listed for Personal Interview based on their performance in the Entrance Test. During interview candidates are required to present their research proposal, before an expert committee constituted by the department and headed by Dean (Academic Research).Candidates will be selected based on the recommendation of the Expert Committee.
